Elisabeth Shue is an American actress who has acted in many critically and commercially acclaimed films. She made her debut in the year 1983 with the film Somewhere, Tomorrow. But it was her role as Ali Mills in the 1984 movie The Karate Kid that shot her to the limelight. There has no been no looking back for her since then.
She even recently appeared in a movie called Greyhound alongside Tom Hanks. It is available exclusively on Apple TV. Elizabeth has also been nominated for an Academy Award for best actress for the movie Leaving Las Vegas. This movie hit the screens in the year 1995.
She was also nominated for a BAFTA, Golden Globe, and SAG Award for Best Actress. She managed to win Best Actress at the Independent Spirit Awards, Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, and the National Society of Film Critics Awards. We hope she continues to entertain us with her movies.
