No Photoshop: You Won’t Believe That These Incredible Images Are Real!
Photo editing is as old as photography itself. However, gone are the days when it used to be done in dark rooms using ink, paint, airbrushes, double exposure, and piecing. Photos can be manipulated now to create some pretty spectacular imagery and look almost exactly as the reality would.
Photoshop can easily be used to tweak images, but when nature takes over, there’s nothing that could stand in its way. That is the case with these photos, and we have the assurance that they are all genuine and go to show how beautiful nature can be when captured in all its authenticity.
Walking on Clouds
Nature is undeniably wonderful. From the sublime, majestic mountains to the admirable crimson sunset rays, we can never really understand the phenomenon behind these wonders. And it looks like we are about to be faced with another spectacle, as this man, for a moment, seemed to be walking on the clouds.
Despite how it looks, this man was photographed walking on Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. Stretching more than 4,050 square miles, the sky reflection on the flat is breathtaking. While it may not be what we thought it was, it’s a sight to behold nonetheless.
Innovative Architecture?
Some things can easily make us question our vision. For instance, at first glance, this building in Paris looks like a large painting hanging on the wall. However, as beautiful and innovative as the city is, something like this would be a rare sight, and it’s hard to believe it’s a real establishment.
Tarps are helpful during construction or repairs as they protect workers from the elements and prevent debris from flying into the surrounding area. This building under construction was covered in an abstract tarp, which made it seem like this photo was photoshopped. It almost had us there!
Frozen Lake or Broken Glass?
For anyone from regions that experience cold weather most of the year, frozen ponds, rivers, or lakes wouldn’t be a big surprise. However, this photo can leave them dumbfounded, as no one would think the water froze and formed such shapes. Except it’s not photoshopped.
This photo of a frozen lake was taken in Switzerland, one of the coldest countries in the world. While it may be hard to believe, the shapes were formed by the movement of the water as it froze, making it look like broken glass. There are a few things we will see as beautiful as this.
