Tommy Steele is a name that’s not easily forgotten. After all, how could anyone forget the man who became Britain’s first teen idol and rock and roll star and then evolved into an all-round entertainer?

Steele had dreams of stardom from his childhood, and it’s incredible that he saw them come true. Now we get to watch his rise to fame in the 1957 film “The Tommy Steele Story” and enjoy knowing that the film’s soundtrack is the first British album to reach number one on the UK Albums Chart.
